As part of Governor Gina Raimondo's Take It Outside Initiative, the Chamber has received $150,000 from the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation to support businesses in taking their activities outside as a response to COVID-19.
All businesses are welcome to apply!
The Chamber's primary aim is to serve office-based businesses that wish to move a portion of their customer service, training, employee break areas and general operations outside.
At the request of businesses, the Chamber will approve the purchase of items that facilitate a safe and successful transition to outdoor activities, including: pop-up tents/canopies, tables/chairs, signage, storage units, workstations, waste receptacles, shelving, dry erase boards, power supplies, and IT capabilities.
