About Us

The Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America provides the best year round character and leadership development program to all youth from Kindergarten through age 20. Our programs include: Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouting, and Career Exploring.

We operate eight camp properties including Camp Champlin in Cranston, RI which operates 8 weeks of Day Camp for youth ages 5-10 each Summer as well as being home to our Adventure Base Camp which offers year round programs for all families.

We also operate Camp Yawgoog for Scouts BSA Troops with over 5,500 scouts from all over the country attending 8 weeks each Summer.
