Small to mid-size business owners often have limited perspective on private company value, both in how to measure it and also in building it. The presenter will discuss why and when this would matter, key drivers of value, case studies, and industry valuation benchmarks and performance metrics tailored to the expected composition of the audience. The presentation will be followed by a robust Q&A session.
Jesse J. Gillett, CPA/ABV, CFE is a Principal in the business valuation, forensics and litigation support department at Edelstein & Company. Jesse has been involved in hundreds of private company valuation studies and consultations across varying contexts such as transactions (mergers, acquisitions, and shareholder buyouts), litigation (shareholder and marital) and other strategic/ commercial advisory needs. Companies valued cross most business sectors, and have included primarily small to mid-size companies ranging from $1 to $20 million in annual revenue, but Jesse frequently works on both smaller and larger projects, including companies with over a billion dollars in revenue.
The presentation and Q&A may be recorded for future content generation purposes.
