  • Welcome New Member Meals on Wheels of RI

Since 1969, Meals on Wheels of RI programs have worked to address the issues of food insecurity and social isolation that are known risk factors for negative health outcomes and loss of independence amongst older adults.

In 2020, we served a total of 3,353 at-risk seniors through our nutritional programs, delivering more than 336,000 meals to 2,748 homebound Rhode Islanders across the state and serving an additional 605 seniors through our Capital City Café Program, which offers socialized dining at Providence area community sites.

For more information, including on other programming working to help our state’s vulnerable seniors remain living independently, visit www.rimeals.org.
