  • Veronica Martinez Joins Centreville Bank as Residential Mortgage Loan Originator

    Centreville Bank President, CEO and Chairman of the Board Harold M. Horvat today announced that Veronica Martinez has joined the bank as a residential loan originator in the bank’s Providence Loan Center.
     
    In this role, Martinez is responsible for educating, advising, and guiding potential borrowers through the loan application process. Whether it is a first-time homebuyer, someone interested in refinancing or applying for a home equity line, she will use her expertise to assist customers in navigating the process.
     
    “At Centreville Bank, our residential mortgage lending team consists of experienced lenders who guide our customers through each step of the mortgage process. We are fortunate to add Veronica to this group of professionals as she applies her skillset to help our customers and ensure that they are well-versed and prepared to embark in their homeownership journeys and realize their dreams,” said Horvat.
     
    Martinez comes to Centreville Bank with over a decade of experience guiding and coaching buyers through the homebuying process. Her most recent position was with NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley where she was the director of homeownership. She began her career in the housing field as the housing counselor at One Neighborhood Builders, a non-profit organization in Providence. Soon after, she became the homeownership coordinator for the Providence Housing Authority.
     
    Martinez graduated from Rhode Island College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology. She has also taught first time homebuyer courses and financial fitness classes. Martinez, who is fluent in Spanish, currently resides in Pawtucket, RI.
