• JWU Names Jennifer Adams Galipeau ’88, ’92 MS, Ed.D Dean of the College of Hospitality Management

    Galipeau has served as Interim Dean since 2021

    Johnson & Wales University is pleased to announce that Jennifer Adams Galipeau ’88, ’92 MS, Ed.D. has been named the Dean of the College of Hospitality Management (COHM), effective immediately. Dean Galipeau will also continue to serve as associate provost.
     
    An alumna of Johnson & Wales University, Galipeau began her professional career at JWU as the director of hotel internship before joining the COHM faculty in 1993. She served as a faculty member teaching in both Food & Beverage Management and the Sports, Entertainment & Event Management (SEEM) departments until 2013, when she was appointed as the university’s first director of outcome assessment. In the intervening years, Galipeau was promoted to Assistant Provost and then Associate Provost of Academic Affairs. In 2021, Galipeau became interim dean of the College of Hospitality Management.
