Classes in this series will range in levels and will be an in-depth exploration of culinary topics.

“CFIT is excited and proud to embrace and welcome the food community of working professionals, alumni and those seeking life-long learning,” said Richard Miscovich, associate professor and co-department chair, International Baking and Pastry Institute at JWU. “We have the knowledge, kitchens, tools, fresh ingredients and the reputation of being the most well-rounded food education facility in the world.”

Inside the Professional Kitchen classes will be held in one of JWU’s state-of-the-art professional kitchens throughout the year. The inaugural class will focus on the process of baking a collection of artisan hearth breads and will be taught by Chef Miscovich.
