    About our Development Team:

    Meeting Street is building a diverse, four-member Development team laser-focused on accomplishing one goal: increasing development revenue to fuel innovation and the transformational work of our educator, therapist, home visitor and allied colleagues.

    In this role, you will:

    • Work collaboratively to successfully execute (including planning, marketing, logistics and fulfillment) seasonal fundraising projects and three special events in support of our Massachusetts and Rhode Island campuses
    • Execute all phases of the gift management process, including CRM gift data entry, composition / mailing of donor acknowledgement letters, General Ledger (GL) booking and reconciliation with Finance, and the creation of digital records / backups
    • Provide tactical administrative report to leadership and front-line fundraisers by producing weekly and ad hoc data reports and analysis
    • Create, update, and edit information on the Meeting Street website to support the goals and initiatives of the Development team
    • Ensure the integration and cross-functionality of all development software platforms

    Your Skills:

    • You are highly organized, able to manage concurrent projects, respond to changing priorities and meet deadlines
    • You are tech-savvy and a self-starter
    • You have strong people and project management skills; you are comfortable managing volunteers, committees and vendors while ensuring progress and quality
    • You are business-mined and analytical with proficient writing skills.  You would be disappointed to see a typo sent out on our letterhead
    • You have a customer service focus when corresponding with donors, with the ability to actively listen, acknowledge and assure
    • You are a team player and feel the responsibility of doing your part to help the team accomplish their goals

    What you need:

    • Three years of professional work experience
    • Experience using a CRM or digital database system (We use Raiser’s Edge)
    • Experience with professional event planning and execution
