Robinson+Cole’s Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications Group welcomes Leticia C. Pimentel as an associate in the firm’s Providence office. Ms. Pimentel focuses her practice on energy and utility law, assisting clients with the permitting and siting of energy, utility, and other infrastructure projects.

Ms. Pimentel helps natural gas and electric providers secure permits and approvals for installation of new transmission and distribution facilities throughout Rhode Island. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson of the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Ms. Pimentel assisted in the drafting of judicial opinions involving complex questions of federal and state law. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Justice Paul A. Suttell of the Rhode Island Supreme Court for two court terms, and worked as a trial court law clerk for the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
