T-Shirts and Face Masks are On-Sale Now through May 26
with Proceeds Helping Local Residents and Businesses
In an effort to ease the economic and emotional burden felt by the onset of the COVID-19 crisis, the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce has launched a t-shirt fundraising campaign t
o support the local COVID-19 Response Fund created by United Way of Rhode Island and The Rhode Island Foundation.
T-shirts, along with face masks, can be purchased online at https://readyinrhodeisland.orderpromos.com/
through May 26.
Would-be philanthropists can choose from a trio of motifs all bearing the slogan “I’d Rather Be At Work”
along with the hashtag #ReadyInRhodeIsland. The short sleeve t-shirts are available in white or light grey and are $20 each for sizes small through extra large and an additional $1-2 for sizes 2X and 3X.
In addition to the t-shirts, one-size-fits-all face masks are also available for $15. The black coverings, made from bamboo, cotton and polyester, add a touch of whimsey with the phrase “Knock It Off, But Keep It On”
followed by the hashtag #ProvChamberLove displayed in a crisp teal blue.
“Our t-shirt fundraiser is off to a great start,” said Laurie White, president of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. “While we all may be in the same storm, we’re not all in the same boat. Many of our local citizens and businesses are struggling emotionally and financially. The chamber has always had deep roots in our community, and we feel it’s our responsibility to help those who truly need our support right now. We’re hoping to make an impact through our t-shirt fundraising campaign.”
T-shirts and face masks will be available for sale online at https://readyinrhodeisland.orderpromos.com/
through Tuesday, May 26. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the local COVID-19 Response Fund created by United Way of Rhode Island and The Rhode Island Foundation.
