BankFive Promotes Three Banking Veterans, Two to Executive Management Positions
BankFive announced has announced the promotion of three seasoned banking executives, including two to executive management positions.
Catherine Dillon has been promoted to Executive Vice President/Director of Marketing Sales and Business Development. She previously was Senior Vice President.
Dillon works out of BankFive’s headquarters in Fall River, Mass. She has been with the Bank for five years.
Her responsibilities include overseeing consumer deposits, retail branches, customer contact center, as well as the small business, investments, business intelligence, and marketing departments.
Dillon, of Marshfield, Mass., has nearly 20 years of banking experience. Prior to joining BankFive, she was Senior Vice President/Marketing and Retail at Fidelity Bank.
Other positions she has held include Vice President/Marketing at Santander Bank, and Assistant Vice President/Marketing Communications at Citizens Bank.
Dillon has a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Emerson College and a master’s degree in education and developmental psychology from Boston College.
She also received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Boston College. She sits on the board of One SouthCoast Chamber.
Robert F. Collins has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. A 40-year banking veteran, he also works out of BankFive’s headquarters.
Collins has been with the Bank for 16 years. His responsibilities include overseeing bank lending, credit, and other departments.
Prior to his promotion, Collins was Executive Vice President of commercial, residential and consumer lending, commercial credit, special assets, REO, MIS, and facilities and security.
Other positions he has held at the Bank include Senior Vice President of loan administration, retail administration, commercial credit, collections, special assets, MIS, facilities and security; and Vice President of loan administration, commercial credit, special assets, facilities, and REO.
Prior to joining BankFive, Collins, of Fall River, was Principal at Lend Lease Real Estate Investments, Inc., and Vice President at Attleboro Pawtucket Savings Bank.
Collins received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bryant University and is a graduate of ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
He is board treasurer for Atlantis Charter School; sits on the boards of Atlantis Educational Foundation and Watuppa Rowing Center; and is a Corporator of Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts.
Donna M. Novo has been promoted to Vice President/Loan Servicing Manager. Also based at the Bank’s main office, she previously was Assistant Vice President/Loan Servicing Manager.
She has 30 years of banking experience. Novo, of Somerset, manages the commercial, residential, and consumer loan servicing area, as well as the collection department.
She received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bristol Community College and attended Mortgage Bankers Association Management Development Program in Residential Lending and Babson School of Financial Studies.
Her professional and volunteer activities include serving as a Salvation Army Advisory Board member; recording secretary for the Irish Heritage Association; member of the New England Adjustment Managers Association; and participating in the United Way Mobile Market and American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
