  • 150 Years Young

The GPCC is celebrating our 150th anniversary throughout 2018. As part of our rich tradition of advancing community businesses, we remain committed to providing our members with the tools they need to grow and succeed, to connect with other commercial leaders and to boost the overall Rhode Island economy.

Throughout its history, the GPCC has been a champion for Rhode Island businesses, business owners, employees and residents. The next 150 years will be no different. The Chamber is poised to continue to help take Rhode Island to the next level, building on the momentum generated by the state’s economic and business growth strategies.

As part of  our 150th anniversary, we will highlight the past successes of the Chamber – but more importantly – feature our member companies as a way to educate the public about the important role the business community plays in making our state a better place to live and work.

We would like to make a call to all of our members to look through the histories of your own organizations and send us any pictures, ads, documents or video showing how your brands have endured and reinvented themselves here in Rhode Island. We will make sure to share your stories through social media, on our website and newsletter and at our other Signature Events. Submissions can be sent to chamber@provchamber.com or call 401-521-5000 with any questions.
