United Way of RI and RI Foundation Form COVID-19 Response Fund

United Way of Rhode Island and The Rhode Island Foundation have announced the co-creation of the Rhode Island COVID-19 Response Fund, which has already raised $1.5 million.
The Fund will support local nonprofits with direct service programs impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

United Way and the CVS Health Foundation have each contributed lead gifts, in addition to generous support from corporate leaders, including BankNewport, as well as Amica, Bank of America, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Centreville Bank, Dimeo Construction Company, FM Global, Hasbro, Inc., National Grid, StrategicPoint Investors, Neighborhood Health Plan of RI, Verizon, Washington Trust, Webster Bank, and Wells Fargo.
