The Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with When Work Works, a national initiative to highlight the importance of workplace effectiveness, is inviting local employers to apply for the Annual Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility.

 

Businesses throughout Rhode Island that make flexibility a priority in their workplace -- i.e. providing flexible schedules, job sharing, and telecommuting among other policies -- are encouraged to apply for the national award online at www.whenworkworks.org Recognition will be given at a Providence Chamber of Commerce Business Over Easy Breakfast event in the fall to small, medium and large companies in the public and private sectors that successfully use workplace flexibility to meet both business and employee goals.
